The print workshop at Strattons was three years in the planning, one year in construction and has been created out of the buildings formerly owned by The Coe Family who ran a printing business from the site in Ash Close. The printing company of W J Coe was founded in 1885 by William John Coe - a member of a long established Swaffham family. When owners Les and Vanessa Scott first bought the building in Ash Close that has become Strattons Hotel, Edwin & Pauline Coe were the first to welcome them to the town and have been great friends ever since.
The old Printing workshop now offers 2 one bedroom self catering apartments, Print room one and Print room two, located on site opposite the main hotel.

Please note bank holidays are not included as Low season and are charged at High season rates.

If you wish to use any of the hotel's facilities such as the Restaurant or CoCoes Café Deli we are pleased to accept payment by cash, cheque with guarantee card, traveller's cheques & most major credit cards (subject to a minimum £10 spend). Please note self catering is only available on bookings of 3 or more nights, if booking in for bed & breakfast or dinner, bed & breakfast in these rooms you will not be provided with the self catering equipment. To hire the self catering equipment when booked in for bed & breakfast or dinner, bed & breakfast there is a hire charge of £20.

Print room One is located on the ground floor.
Kitchen diner & lounge
A large kitchen and living area. The kitchen houses a cooker; fridge; microwave; kettle; dish washer; cupboard space and seating for up to 6 people.
The spacious lounge area has two large sofas; a flat screen TV and blue-ray DVD. The lounge is suitable for additional beds.
Separate bath & walk in shower.
The bedroom can be made up for twin or double use and can fit a cot or cot bed. There is a wardrobe; chest of drawers; iron; ironing board; hairdryer and projector and screen for the TV and DVD.
SLEEPS 2 (+ UP TO 1 TRAVEL COT)
Print room Two is located on the first floor, accessed via an external stair case leading onto a private balcony.
Kitchen diner & lounge
A large kitchen and living area. The kitchen houses a cooker; fridge; microwave; kettle; dish washer; cupboard space and seating for up to 4 people.
The lounge area has a sofa; a flat screen TV and blue-ray DVD with sliding doors leading onto the balcony.
Separate bath & walk in shower.
The bedroom can be made up for twin or double use and can fit a travel cot. There is a wardrobe; chest of drawers; iron; ironing board; hairdryer, TV and DVD player.
A decked balcony with seating for up to 4 people.
Additional useful information
Please check in at the main hotel reception where you will be shown to your apartment. If you know you are going to arrive later than 8pm please advise the hotel. We can also organise a late cold supper if required.
The Print rooms have under floor heating and heated towels radiators in the bathrooms.
You will be provided with bedding and towels.
Parking on site is available.
Children are welcome to stay in Print room one; please advise reception at the booking stage to ensure you have suitable space and beds.
Dogs can be accommodated by prior arrangement Print One as long as they are cat tolerant. We reserve the right to charge for any damage made without prior notice. Guests must advise us at the booking stage of their intention of bringing a pet to ensure the appropriate room is allocated. Strattons reserves the right to refuse accommodation and charge if guests arrive with pets not stated in the booking contract.
Strattons is 'No smoking' throughout. Any guest found to be smoking may be asked to leave immediately and will be charged.
Dinner can be booked in Stratton's Restaurant any night of the week. Breakfast is also available in the restaurant from 7.30am - 10am mid week and 8.30am - 10am over weekends and bank holidays.
In either case advance booking is required. As your accommodation is self catering you are not automatically allocated a table in the hotel for dinner or breakfast. Our restaurant is often busy and we cannot always guarantee allocation of a table in our main dining room. Should this be the case we will offer room service. Please contact Reception to make a reservation.
Alternatively CoCoes cafe deli is open most days for breakfast; lunches and light bites as well as tasty take away food and drink. Bookings cannot be made for CoCoes.
Print room guests are welcome to use Room Service from the hotel.
Room service for Breakfast is available from 7.30am until 10am and Dinner is available from 6.30pm until 9.00pm. Self catering guests wanting Room service Breakfast or Dinner are advised to provide Reception with at least 12 hours notice. Room service is not available between 12am and 7.30am Monday to Friday or 12am - 8.30 Saturday & Sunday.
A bed making and room cleaning service is available on request. The cost is £20 for one service per day. This excludes dish washing for those on self-catering terms but includes:
